Looking for a fun way to spend the last few weekends before school starts? The City of Arcata has the perfect solution. Beginning Saturday, August 2nd, and running for three consecutive weekends, “August Arts in the Park” provides quality entertainment for the whole family.

Sponsored by Arcata’s Recreation Division, “August Arts in the Park” will feature dancers, musicians, storytellers and clowns representing a variety of genres and cultures. All events will take place in Redwood Park. Admission to all events is $5 per person.

The lineup of events is as follows:

Saturday, August 2 - You can either sit back and relax or get up and dance with Kulica, one of the most popular bands in the region, as they play their unique blend of sounds designed to refresh your soul and get you groovin’. Music starts at 7 pm.

Come enjoy the sunset and music while drinking some excellent beer and eating great food.  The brewery has been remodeled since we've been there.  We will be performing outside on the 2,000-square-foot lanai, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and tiki torches, offers seating for 175 patrons.
